Mirror, mirror...in my face

Yeah, I know...I'm a bit late with the mirrored sunglasses. But hey, since it's only raining, there was no necessity to buy new sunglasses, right?! And to be honest, I wasn't so sure which one to take. Actually, I really like the one from Le Specs, but I wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend the money on "trend" glasses.

pic via Zalando

So, I decided to save some more money to buy a classic RayBan later and just buy the cheaper mirrored glasses.

I found sunglasses at Gina Tricot and bought two since I couldn't decide what color and they were only 5,95€ each.

What do you think? You like them?

Are you buying less expensive "trend" pieces or do you think I should have spend more money on only one piece?

Have a great weekend and hopefully you can wear your sunglasses. I highly doubt this for me :-(. Have fun!

Vegan Recipe: Mini crunchy pancakes with raspberry yogurt ice cream

As I may have already read in my last post, I started a 30 day challenge "Vegan for Fit".

My first day started with a very delicious breakfast "Mini crunchy pancakes with raspberry yogurt ice cream". It was so yummy, I just wanted to share it with you.

For two servings you need:
The batter:
  • 60 g whole wheat flour
  • 140 ml soy milk
  • 20 g agave syrup
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • a pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground vanilla
  • 30 g Amaranth (not the grain, but the popped one)

The ice cream:
  • 150 g frozen raspberries
  • 30 g agave syrup
  • 80 g soy yogurt

Add:
  • 2 bananas
  • 200 g fresh raspberries
  • little walnut oil
  • little agave syrup

all ingredients, only the soy milk is missing

1. Mix all ingredients for the batter, except the Amaranth. Whisk until it is smooth.
2. Mix the Amaranth into the batter.

3. Put a little walnut oil to the pan.
4. 2 tbsp. per pancake and bake 4 minutes per side on mid heat.

5. Put all ingredients for the ice cream in a mixer. Use really frozen berries. Otherwise it'll look like on my pics since my berries were a little unfrozen already.

6. Slice the bananas and wash the raspberries.

7. At last, staple the pancakes, raspberries and bananas like you see in the pic and top it with the ice cream and little agave syrup.
8. Enjoy!

My ice cream was more cream then ice, but yummy any way :-)

Already hungry again when I see the pics. Guess this will be my new favorite weekend breakfast.

Have fun and enjoy in case you try it and let me know what you think!

Have a wonderful day!

Time for a change - "Vegan for Fit" a 30 days challenge

I already told you that I cleared out my closet. To get some space, some money and above all, because a lot of my clothes don't fit me anymore :-(. Sad, but true. I gained some pounds during the last weeks (I blame the long winter). Although I did some sports...I don't know what's going on. But beside the pounds, I always feel so lazy, sleepy and clumsy currently. So, I read a little about better foods etc. and "Vegan for Fit" crossed my way.

On the one hand, I'm really excited to do it, but on the other hand I'm a little afraid that I don't keep up until the end. Because I love food and - shame on me - I also like meat (now I feel guilty). That sounds terrible, I know. But I'm really willing to do something good for this planet and of course, I'm not happy about supporting all these cruelties. So, this is totally a great motivation.

I think, I'll give it a try and all the recipes look so yummy...I hope this will motivate me to stick to the 30 day challenge.

Vegan for Fit via Amazon

I bought nearly all things online via Amazon.

I hope this challenge will bring back my motivation and I hope I'll feel better soon. Moreover, I will start running now. I definitely need to do more sports.

So, are you vegan or a veggie? Let me know what you've experienced so far and what you motivation was?! I'm excited to read more about it.

Have a wonderful evening!

New in/ Faux Leather Top from Zara

It is a while ago that I bought some new clothing. Actually, I sold a lot from my closet on Kleiderkreisel. Just to get a little more space and get rid of things I don't wear anymore.

But then I read about a Ivelina's sale. She is the blogger behind FriChic and I really love her style. Of course, I had to see what she is selling and there were a lot pieces I really liked, but my total favorite was this faux leather top from Zara.

It's perfect with the little lace arms and the front in faux leather. I hope, I can wear it soon. Post will follow then.

Have a wonderful Sunday all.

Happy Mother's Day

Actually, I think that it shouldn't be just that one day to say "Thank you" to your mum's, right?! But since my mum doesn't live around the corner and I don't have the chance to spend so much time with her, I take the chance to say "Thank you" here on my little blog. But of course, I already called her, too!

Hope you all have such a wonderful mum and let her know!

You're the best!
Happy Mother's Day!

Fashion movies by Karl Lagerfeld "Once upon a time" with Keira Knightley

That Karl Lagerfeld is a master of mise-en-scéne is well-known for all of us. Not least, because of his lavish staged shows in Paris each year which often appear like a dramatic plays and are more then just a fashion show.

By this time, I always wait for his new muse to be named and surprisingly he choose Keira Knightley. (I don't know if this is really surprising?! Maybe not, but I didn't had Keira on the radar since I'm not her biggest fan...til now.)
She plays Coco Chanel in the new short movie "Once upon a time" that screens the opening of Gabrielle's first store in France in 1913.

See the movie on YouTube or on Chanel.

This is one of the most loveliest movies I have ever seen. It's gorgeous. Keira Knightley looks brilliant as Coco and I think, all other actresses/ models are perfect! Stella Tennent is just great and I adore Lindsey Wixson's dress. Doesn't she look amazing?!

Well, Karl at it's best or what do you think? Do you like it?

Have a wonderful day.

OOTD/ Outfit and work-intensive week

I'm still alive :-). I'm very sorry for writing so less during the last weeks. That wasn't the plan, but I had to prioritize some other stuff lately. Hope you are not angry with me?! Actually, I wanted to post last week, but the work was a lot more intensive then I thought and my eyes closed as soon as I put my feet up in the evening.

We spent some days in Berlin and built a new pond! Yes, a real pond with fish and a course of a stream and all bells and whistles. What a week, but it was worth it. It's really beautiful now and we even had the chance to enjoy our Sunday morning breakfast right next to the pond.

Isn't this beautiful? 4 days full of work, totally worth it...

a new resident of the pond...

Jonesy just enjoyed the sun....

So, you can imagine how my outfits during the last days looked like...old jeans or sweatpants and shirt, barefoot and that's it. No photos necessary :-).

We just took a quick shot on Sunday before we left...again a very comfy, easy and nothin' fancy outfit.

Bildunterschrift hinzufügen

It was Sunday morning...pls don't judge me :-)
Shirt - Only, Jeans - Zara, Loafer - Asos

So, I guess the next few weeks will be more quiet and I'll post more again.
Have a wonderful week all.
